
Christy McGill

Christy McGill is a film producer, writer, story consultant, and distribution advisor. Her producing credits include the award-winning feature documentaries PASANG: In the Shadow of Everest (director, Nancy Svendsen, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video) which had its world premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and won Best Adventure Film at Mountainfilm Fest in Telluride, Ai Weiwei: Yours Truly (director Cheryl Haines, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video), Serenade for Haiti (director, Owsley Brown, GOOD DOCS), and Ghost Bird (director, Scott Crocker, NETFLIX). Christy has consulted on a variety of documentaries, advising during pre-production, story development, field production, post-production, release preparation and distribution. Recent projects include, including The Secret Song (director, Samantha Campbell, PBS), and the forthcoming features Pauline From 2 to 3 (director, Richard Rutkowski) and Grains of Sand (director, Sarah Gross). Christy is a graduate of Brown University where co-developed and helps teach the college's first documentary producing class.
